Somerville Auto Repair...Going Swimmingly!

So, I guess you heard about the flooding?

Well, we got slammed here in Union Square! So didn't our friends down the way in East Somerville. Most of us in the area were without power and some were even under water (can't really get your Somerville auto repair if everything is floating).

Have no fear, Mike's faithful! Like many of our Union Square compadres we are back in action!

But what a mess it was.... Check out these photos posted by the Somerville News. (Notice all of the water in front of the Precinct? Yeah, we're right across the street!)

We know you must have your own flood story.

Let us know - we can't wait to hear it!

Hey Mike's Auto!

There's a new non-profit open-access community workshop in Somerville called the Artisan's Asylum that is trying to make available all sorts of tools (think wood working equipment, welding tools, circuits, sewing machines) so that people can create the things they've always wanted to.

We're trying to measure interest in different kinds of classes that might be offered in August/September and find out what kinds of things people would like to learn about. We're trying to get as many people as possible to fill out our class interest survey - could you post a link to it?

The survey is at: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/werelistening

Thanks so much!
